3D Printing and My Printer

3D printing creates real objects from digital designs. Instead of carving or cutting, the printer builds the object layer by layer using special materials.

I use the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, one of the most advanced and reliable 3D printers available today. It’s known for speed, precision, and the ability to work with a wide variety of materials. This ensures your prints come out with professional quality.

What I Can Make

I print from existing templates/design files provided by you or downloaded from trusted sources. I don’t create or modify raw 3D files, but I can guide you on where to find designs if needed.

Materials

I print with a wide range of filaments:

PLA & PETG (great for everyday prints and decorations, including glow-in-the-dark options)
ABS & ASA (strong, heat-resistant plastics)
Nylon & Carbon Fiber blends (super tough and durable)
TPU (a flexible, rubber-like material)

💡 Note: If you need a filament I don’t have in stock, I can order it. This may extend the overall project timeline.

Print Time

Time depends on size and detail:

Small items: a few hours
Medium items: 6–12 hours
Large/detailed: up to a couple of days

⏳ Note: Timelines may be extended if the printer encounters issues (like a “spaghetti defect” or other common 3D printing problems). The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon uses AI monitoring to reduce these risks, but reprints can occasionally be required.

Multi-Color Printing

Yes! I have two AMS 2 Pro units, which means I can use up to 8 colors in a single project. This allows me to create vibrant designs, add logos, or use special support materials that dissolve after printing.

Print Size

Maximum build size: 10 × 10 × 10 inches (256 × 256 × 256 mm) — large enough for most everyday objects, replacement parts, and multi-piece builds.

Durability

I’ll recommend the best material for your project.

PLA: lightweight and colorful, good for decorative items.
PETG, ABS, Nylon, Carbon Fiber: strong, durable, long-lasting.
TPU: flexible and bendable without breaking.

Flexible & Specialty Prints

Yes! I can print flexible, rubbery parts and specialty blends like carbon-fiber reinforced nylon for high-strength projects. Some of these work best outside multi-color mode but produce excellent results.

Limits

Most everyday items, replacement parts, and prototypes can be printed with great results.

Super smooth “factory finish” requires sanding or painting, which you’d need to do (I don’t provide post-processing).
